- start up ES
- if getting error about TLS / security index on http or https then do:
bash plugins/opensearch-security/tools/securityadmin.sh -cd config/opensearch-security/ -cacert config/root-ca.pem -cert config/admin.pem -key config/admin-key.pem --accept-red-cluster
Add internal users
- hash a password:
bash plugins/opensearch-security/tools/hash.sh -p 123
- add user in config/opensearch-security/internal_users.yml
- add role mapping
- call above securityadmin.sh again
Disable ssl
now we can disable ssl in config. plugins.security.ssl.http.enabled: true
and call apis through http
